I have some problems here. I bought WPML because it says "compatible with WPML" but apparently it is not fully compatible.
First of all, I want to say that I am working locally. I have installed and correctly run the entire Site, everything works like a charm and I really love this theme.
I'm working with Woocommerce integration to make payments. Úp to this point everything works perfectly.
Woocommerce activated and integrated, tested without WPML and all works perfect.
The problems starts with WPML.
PROBLEMS:
1- When I install all the WPML components, everything seems to be fine. The problem beggins when try to make some reservation (PLACE YOUR ORDER feature) Then, when I go into the tour item page (eg, A tour for Paris), then I decided to set a different language like Spanish (English is the native) and when I clic on booking, I get Error page 404 (see attached image). If I go back to the English side, it works again. This is the first problem I have.
MY OBSERVATION IN THIS:
So I tought that maybe it was because I should duplicate all the pages for each instance (place order, chechout tour, booking confirmation). So I went to City Tours options, then Tour settings, then change the language scheme and configure all the translated pages to try again. And eventually works, but not for long. When I go back to the native English language to test english side, the Error 404 shows again. Therefore, I think is a problem with the process of buying and selling with woocommerce integration. I NEED to make to work PLEASE. This is the main reason why I bought the template.
2- When I did all this I mentioned above, all things related with whishlist was gone!. Top bar whishlits text, gone. Wishlist section, gone. Wishlist page, blank. So I had to restore the entire Site and go back to make it works again.
3- There is a problem with the products in Woocommerce. Every time I make a reservation (booking), Woocommerce duplicates every product in the list of products for each order was made. So, when I go to products, under Woocommerce (to left side menu of wordpress), and go inside, I have e.g. 15 equal products related to every time I make a test reservation. Also this affects search results. E.G.: I try to find some stuff, and clic on search icon, and type something like "paris", the search results show me 15 items to the same thing, and you have to consider the database is increased every time some product is created, because they were duplicated many times.
4- I have another question. When I add the widget's language selector (WPML) and place it in the footer, I get this: (see image attached to the footer). Under "Currency Settings" appear a new selector with language options. Why this?
5- When I try to place a language selector in the top bar, from the City Tour / top bar / custom link settings, where you place a sample text (Purchase it!), I want to place it on there the language selector of WPML. Please, see the image of the attached top bar. WPML Shortcode does not work and custom WPML php does not either.
6- I need to translate some things, such as the Booking options on the right sidebar tour item, the filters of the sidebars and the options for other languages. I can not find how to do that anywhere in the template.
I really need to solve all these problems. I'm working locally and I have to do this for next week and even start translating the rest because now I'm stuck with this.
I sincerely hope you can help me with all this, I really like this template and I have to get to work.
