Please use following css code to change background image of 404 page.

body.error404 #hero { background: #4d536d url(../img/slide_hero.jpg) no-repeat center center; }

You can change image url in it.

The theme as a 404 page. 

In the theme options i don´t have a page set. But the page display correctly. 

Where do i change the background picture?
