I'm looking to help a client here as they would like the tours page on their site using this theme to shoot out the posts by publish date by default

I've looked at the file ct_tour_get_search_result function in /inc/frontend/tour/functions.php and have commented out the following....

if ( ! empty( $order_by ) ) {

   $sql .= " ORDER BY " . $order_by_array[$order_by] . " " . $order;
}

... but no luck. 

Hoping your team might have some thoughts.
