I can not see it is slow on my end.

the theme is loading very slowly. It takes many seconds, up to 10 sometimes, to paint the first image. 

I have customized the theme to use my own booking system and inventory. However, if I compare the performance of http://www.soaptheme.net/wordpress/citytours/tour/?view=grid to my own site https://tripofthings.com I find them very similar, and both slow.

I suspect that there is something in the theme itself that slows down the loading time. I have disabled the CTBooking plugin but it doesn't seem to help that much.

Please advise as the current page performance is not acceptable and it is impacting my business.
