Sorry let me be clearer.
I have 290 thousand hotels in my database.
Do I need to manually input prices and vacancy for every hotel or does travelo booking system speak to hotel databases or a central database seperatly and retrieve the data to keep up to date

I can not understand your question.
Travelo theme has his own booking system, it does not integrate any api.

When you say its own booking system I assume you mean I have to keep this up to date or are there APIs that link to a central booking system hotels use?

Hi,
Travelo theme has his own booking system.
Please add accommodation, rooms and vacancies in Accommodations menu and try to book in frontend.
